TEEP WORK Participant Code of Conduct
Our Standard for Professional Work Experience
TEEP WORK — Talent and Enterprise Exchange Program — is designed to give participants meaningful experience in an environment that values learning, responsibility, quality, integrity, and professional development.
Every participant contributes to the quality of the program.
This Code of Conduct explains the behaviour we expect from everyone participating in TEEP WORK work experiences.
1. Be Honest
Participants must be truthful about:
- Their identity
- Qualifications
- Skills
- Experience
- Work completed
- Assessment results
- Availability
- Other information provided to TEEP WORK
Do not exaggerate your capabilities or claim experience you do not have.
2. Do Your Own Work
Participants must complete assigned work honestly.
Do not:
- Copy another participant's work
- Submit AI-generated or third-party work where prohibited
- Plagiarise
- Falsify results
- Misrepresent someone else's contribution as your own
Where collaboration is permitted, follow the specific instructions provided for the assignment.
3. Take Responsibility
Participants are expected to take ownership of their assigned work.
If you encounter a problem, communicate early.
Asking for help is better than silently missing a deadline.
4. Respect Deadlines
Deadlines are part of professional work.
Participants should plan their time, communicate potential delays as early as possible, and make reasonable efforts to deliver work on time.
5. Accept Feedback
Feedback is an essential part of the TEEP WORK experience.
Participants should treat feedback as an opportunity to improve rather than as a personal criticism.
Where revisions are requested, participants should make reasonable efforts to address them.
6. Protect Confidential Information
Never share confidential project information, business information, personal information, files, passwords, or other protected information outside authorised channels.
Do not publish work online unless you have permission to do so.
7. Respect Others
Participants must treat coordinators, fellow participants, partners, and other people involved in the program with professionalism and respect.
Harassment, threats, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, or abusive behaviour are not acceptable.
8. Communicate Professionally
Use clear and respectful language when communicating through program channels.
Participants should:
- Respond appropriately
- Ask clear questions
- Provide relevant updates
- Avoid unnecessary conflict
- Escalate genuine concerns through the appropriate channel
9. Use Technology Responsibly
Participants must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access
- Damage systems
- Introduce malware
- Circumvent security controls
- Access information unrelated to their assignment
- Share credentials
- Misuse another person's account
10. Respect the Work Experience Structure
Participants should understand that work is managed through the applicable TEEP WORK structure.
Participants should not attempt to bypass the established process to create unauthorised direct working relationships with business members.
11. Ask When Unsure
If you do not understand:
- The assignment
- A deadline
- A quality requirement
- A confidentiality requirement
- What you are allowed to use
- What you are allowed to share
Ask the coordinator before proceeding.
12. Consequences
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in:
- Coaching
- Additional guidance
- Removal from an assignment
- Temporary suspension
- Loss of access to certain opportunities
- Termination of program participation
The response will depend on the nature and seriousness of the issue.
Our Shared Standard
TEEP WORK is built around:
Quality. Integrity. Responsibility. Learning. Progression.
We expect participants to take their experience seriously and use every assignment as an opportunity to grow.
